Jack Honey is one of the most-requested liqueurs in the assistant logs. Its mellow honey notes melt into frozen lemonade for a cocktail that drinks like a hard lemonade with backbone.

- Frozen Lemonade Concentrate150 ml
- Fresh Lemon Juice60 ml
- Water930 ml
- Vodka (to fortify)210 ml
- Sugar (to taste)26.3 g
Method
- 1.Combine everything in the Slushi on Spiked Slush mode.
- 2.Run 60 min until ribbon-soft.
- 3.Serve in mason jars with a lemon wheel and a sprig of mint.

Notes from our testing
Jack Honey is 35% ABV and sweetened — treat it as spirit plus about a quarter ounce of syrup.
Tennessee Honey is not just flavoured whiskey, it is a liqueur by the numbers: 35% ABV instead of 40, and enough honey sugar that every two ounces contributes roughly as much as a quarter ounce of simple syrup. Both of those work in your favour in a slushie, which is why this combination is so forgiving.
Four ounces of Jack Honey into a lemonade base gets you near 10% ABV, and because the whiskey is bringing its own sweetness you can use slightly less syrup than a plain bourbon build would need. We land around 12 Brix without adding anything beyond the lemonade itself.
Frozen lemonade concentrate is the base we prefer here for the consistency reasons covered in the plain lemonade notes. Fresh lemon works and tastes brighter, but you are then balancing honey sweetness against a variable sugar source and it takes a test batch.
A dash of Angostura on top of the poured glass is worth trying. The honey note goes slightly flat when frozen and the bitters put an edge back on it without touching the batch chemistry.
